Starting the database search
In the academic year. 1977/798 the course of "photogrammetric techniques applied to urban planning and architecture already had a laboratory equipped with modern equipment, made available by Wild Italia SpA and it was possible to start research on the" Database of urban environments and buildings of considerable urban and architectural interest ".
At the end of the course the 1st national conference of Architectural Photogrammetry was organized, flanked by an exhibition, on 19-20-21 May.
The conference was opened with a provocative report entitled "Uselessness in architecture and urban planning, of discontinuous relief and simple photographic documentation" and concluded with a visit to the Sassi districts of Matera, object of importance for its particular complexity.
